A friend of mine made some walnut dye from walnuts collected in the neighborhood. Unsurprisingly, I was eager to try it out. 😄

This flower vase was made from mulberry wood and decorated with my wood-burning pen. The darker sections were dyed with the walnut dye. I also deliberately kept those sections rougher so it would have a different texture.
