ZOT!!! ⚡ I love stormy days. Lightning streaks across the sky in this city scene. People enjoy their lives inside their homes while the storm rages on outside. I really got into this piece.
The buildings are birch and mahogany. Behind the bolt of lighting is a rose-gold tinted mirror, so it glows with reflected light. Gypsum paste is worked into etched mortar lines between the bricks; and the bricks are colored with watercolor paint and chalks. The frame is included and is made from poplar wood, dyed with black, blue, and red dyes, with copper paint accents.
