Mushroom Pepper and Salt Set [Feb 2020] get a link to this artwork

walnut, red oak, maple, spalted hackberry, tung oil

This is a mushroom-shaped peppermill and salt shaker set that I made.

The peppermill's stem is made from red oak and its head is walnut with maple dowels inserted for the polka dots. The grinding mechanism is a CrushGrind ceramic grinder.

The salt shaker's head is made from spalted hackberry. Like the peppermill, its stem is made of red oak.
