I made this small Rainy Day Vase from mulberry wood. I scorched it with a propane torch to create the storm clouds and the eye of the storm. The rain and puddles were burned into the wood with a wood-burning pen. A light wash of blue dye gives a touch of color. The piece is finished with tung oil.
